Levitra effective on demand

PDE5 inhibitor Levitra was found more effective when used on demand for erectile dysfunction in men following prostate removal, Canadian researchers say.

The study involved 87 centers across Europe, the United States, Canada and South Africa between December 2004 and September 2007.

A total of 423 patients completed the study. The inclusion of the on-demand dosing regimen enabled comparison of the currently recommended guidelines for the use of PDE5 inhibitors with a proposed nightly dosing regimen. The results clearly show that nightly dosing with vardenafil does not have any effect beyond that of on-demand use.

The study, published in European Urology, shows that on-demand use of vardenafil during the treatment period was associated with significantly greater erectile function and sexual intercourse completion rates compared to placebo. The success rates for the vardenafil on-demand group were also higher than for the nightly group.

Why Levitra is a step ahead of Viagra?

Levitra is one of the three erectile dysfunction oral treatments and has some distinctive advantages over Viagra.

Viagra is normally available in 50mg and 100mg. Most people use 100mg Viagra for better results while 25mg Viagra does not seem to work for most men. Now Levitra seems quite better because it comes in 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg, and 10mg Levitra works wonders for the most people.

Levitra is also a step ahead of Viagra having lesser probability of side effects becuaes of the lower dosage.

Some people are allergic to the active ingredient sildenafil found in Viagra, Levitra could be your choice in this case as well.
